How I Learned To Care
When three people I loved needed help, I didn't send them to an agency. I showed up. I learned what they really needed. I figured out the errands, the appointments, all of it. And I stayed because they needed someone who actually cared, not someone who was clocking in.
I've since brought that same presence to volunteering with people experiencing homelessness. What I've learned is that everyone deserves to be treated like a person, not a case.

Things I Help With
I help with the everyday things that pile up and wear you down. Meal planning, grocery shopping, and meal prep; picking up medications or dropping off a package; scheduling appointments and being there when it matters; coordinating a ride, seeing you off, and making sure you get home safely.
When you need a handyman, a housekeeper, or any other service, I can help you find the right service, make the appointment, and stay through those long four-hour windows with you. And sometimes what's needed most isn't an errand at all; it's a familiar face, a real conversation, and someone who actually shows up and pays attention. That's what I'm here for.
I Wish I Could Do It All
There are a few things I'm not able to help with, and I want to be upfront about that.
I don't drive clients in my vehicle, provide nursing or caretaker services, administer medication, or monitor physical health. That's a different kind of help than what I offer.
I'm not a legal or financial advisor, and I won't make decisions about your care. Those are always yours to make. And I'm not trained to keep you safe from falling.
What I am here for is to make your days easier, your load lighter, and your life a little more manageable, and hopefully a little more enjoyable.
